About the game

A sandbox MMO with a ship at its heart.

Shiplanet is a 2D sandbox MMO for iOS, Android and Windows. Every player is a captain with a ship of their own, and every planet in its shared universe is a place you can walk into, dig through and build on.

It is free to play, with no loot boxes: the shop never sells a random item.

01Your ship

Every player is a captain.

Your own ship to power, upgrade and come home to between planets. Fit it out, raise its rating and take it further out into the charts.

02The Exchange

A player-run economy.

Every price is set by players. Trade face to face, or list on the Exchange, the universe's market, where orders fill across every planet and even while you are offline.

03The sandbox

Mine, build, lock, trade, grow.

Type a planet name and walk in. Mine it tile by tile, build with what you find, lock it so it is yours, and splice seeds into rare blocks nobody has grown before.

04Vocations

A lot to do on every planet.

Level seven vocations: farming, ranching, cooking, fishing, surgery, raid fighting and dungeon delving. Or build your own games out of blocks, from races to Capture the Flag.

Worlds

Every planet is a place.

Blast an untouched planet into a new biome, then walk in and make it yours.

What is Shiplanet?

Shiplanet is a free 2D sandbox MMO where every player is a captain with a ship of their own. Players mine, build, lock, trade and grow across one shared universe of planets, and fly voyages with friends between them.

Who makes Shiplanet?

Shiplanet is made by Eosapien, an independent game studio from Turkey. It is the studio's first game.

What platforms is Shiplanet on?

Shiplanet is coming to iOS, Android and Windows. All three run the same game in one shared universe, so players on phones and PCs play together.

When does Shiplanet come out?

Shiplanet is in development and has no release date yet. News about testing and launch is shared first on the Shiplanet Discord.

Is Shiplanet free to play?

Yes. Shiplanet is free to play. Its shop never sells a random item, so there are no loot boxes: players always know exactly what they are getting.

Can I play Shiplanet with friends?

Yes. Shiplanet is massively multiplayer: everyone shares one persistent universe, can visit each other's planets and trade, and friends can come aboard a ship to fly voyages together.

Will Shiplanet ever be wiped?

No. Planets, ships and items stay as players left them. When something breaks, it is fixed without resetting what players built.
